Rivers and Streams

T
here are several hundred miles of trout streams within the Great Smoky Mountains. These Rivers and Streams vary in size and offer diverse fishing. Some waters are open waters for casting ease and some are tight and technical. All waters offer plenty of eager trout, as well as a unique fishing experience. One of the last wild trout fisheries in the east, the G.S.M.N.P offers the angler several fishing opportunities to fish for wild Rainbows, Browns, and Brookies.
Several regulations are in effect, to preserve and protect this fishery. Certain streams can be fished to target the species of trout you desire to catch. Although there are many more waters, here is a list of some of them.

Time is but the stream I go a-fishing in. Its thin current slides away, but eternity remains."
